This amazing thing to do in Storms River is a three-hour guided aerial excursion of the mid canopy of the indigenous Tsitsikamma forest providing tourists with an unequaled environmental experience, which constantly endorses the importance of conserving our indigenous forests

The Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour offers a unique educational experience of a pristine indigenous forest and is a fun and educational "foofie slide" tour of the Tsitsikamma indigenous forest. Run by an ecotourism company called Storms River Adventures you are guaranteed to have a forest experience you'll never forget! This Fair Trade company is involved in numerous community projects and has won numerous local awards, proving your money spent here can make a difference.

This adventure activity in Storms River, Eastern Cape runs tours daily from 08:00 (in school holidays earlier - perfect for school holiday entertainment!) and a tour departs every half an hour. Children 4 years (dependant on size and capability) and older are welcome and this is not a strenuous activity so there is no age limit! On the tour you can expect to see the breathtaking indigenous forest as you glide along the ten platforms and find yourself up to 30 metres above the forest floor. Your guides are present throughout the tour and share their interesting facts on the forest at each platform. You may even sight the Knysna Loerie and the elusive Narina Trogon. About 3 hours later you exit the forest, having undertaken the journey of a lifetime. A delicious light lunch will be waiting for you at their Restaurant.

Maximum 8 pax per group. Tours conducted in all weather conditions, but can be cancelled in the interest for safety. Pregnant ladies unfortunately will not be allowed on the excursion. Maximum weight 120kg. Bookings essential.
