Reviews for Vergelegen Country Guesthouse and Restaurant
Your rooms spic and span and tastefully decorated Your food was outstanding. Your staff were friendly and even your staff working in the gardens greeted us with a smile. We have not experienced something like this for a long time here in South Africa and we have travelled a lot. Not only locally but overseas as well. So I was dumbfounded to discover such an establishment could exist in Kakamas of all places. We have stopped for coffee before and said next time we needed to sleep over. You certainly put some of the big city establishments to shame. Thankfully you are quite far from us as we would love to do week ends but that dinner menu scares us with the outstanding and unusual variety of dishes. We will be back in July and now intend using Vergelegen as our stopover bothways from Cape Town to Kgalagadi We normally like to experience new places but for future Kgalagadi trips there will only be one stopover.Once again many thanks for a great stay.

"Although a 4 Star rating, Vergelegen comply with the requirement of ta 5 Star."
As a family we had a wonderful stay at Vergelegen and will most definitely make use of it in the future. We\'ll also highly recommend it to family and friends. Please keep up the good work and your tariffs affordable. If you by any means could afford it, don’t upgrade to a 5 Star. This will result in higher tariffs which will further result in the average customer unable to afford it. Thank you, once again for a most memorable stay with you guys. Please convey our appreciation to all your Staff.
