ESTABLISHMENT OVERVIEW:

This accommodation in Sun City is located on Mziki Private Game Reserve, that offers 6000 ha of malaria-free prime bushveld and is home to four of the "Big 5", and over fifty species of mammals and 372 species of birds.

This Sun City accommodation is situated in the North West Province, just 90 minutes from Johannesburg. Mziki Safari Lodge is an affordable yet exclusive getaway for today's hopeful eco-traveler.

The Hex River runs through the reserve with an 8 km riverfront and flows into the Vaalkop Dam. A magnificent variety of wildlife and an ever-changing vista along the river, awaits visitors for a one of its kind African safari experience guided by expert rangers. Mziki is one of South Africa's most compelling wilderness regions in such close proximity to Gauteng. Mziki Safari Lodge combines a personal touch and old world hospitality with the beauty of nature.

This Safari Lodge close to Sun City offers luxurious and outstanding international and traditional cuisine.

Activities:

Enjoy bush walks or games drives day or night in an open safari vehicle with experienced game Rangers, and view the animals in their natural habitat. Take a Barge Cruise and enjoy a sundowner while watching the game on the shore. Or why not do a spot of fishing in the river, while listening to the sounds of the bush.
There is a boma where guests can take pleasure in a braai/BBQ and there is a swimming pool, a great way to cool off after a day in the hot African sun.

Accommodation:

Main Lodge:
There are 4 rooms located in the main lodge building at this accommodation Sun City offers. The outer two rooms are large with king beds and en suite bathrooms (shower and bath). The two inner rooms have twin beds and en suite bathrooms (shower only). These rooms face out onto the gleaming swimming pool, overlooking a waterhole where game come to drink regularly.

Chalets:
three thatched twin or king-size bed stand alone chalets each with a lounge, veranda and en suite bathroom (shower & bath). Each chalet has a sleeper couch which can accommodate maximum two children under the age of twelve.

Rondavels:
Stay in Sun City in one of the two thatched twin or king-size bed stand-alone rondavels. Each has a lounge, veranda and en suite bathroom (shower only).
