ESTABLISHMENT OVERVIEW:This Kimberley accommodation was formerly known as Harkamel Stud Equestrian Estate & Guest Farm and is a beautiful Northern Cape Farm only 12 km from Kimberley.
While staying at Mein Heim Estate, guests can enjoy a game drive or take a hike to Bushman Koppie and view the historic Bushmen rock drawings. This accommodation in Kimberley also offers have pony rides for the children, as well as a trampoline and swimming pool to keep them entertained for hours.
This beautiful estate in the Northern Cape is a great break away for the weekend, away from all the stresses of modern life.
There are three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and the rooms' offer a television and air-conditioning to keep you cool during the hot Kimberley summers. There is a lovely swimming pool and Braai/BBQ facilities are available at this accommodation Kimberley offers. Pets are also welcome by prior arrangement.
There are plenty of attractions in Kimberley to keep the exploratory guests entertained. One of Kimberley's major attractions, the Big Hole and Kimberley Mine Museum, was once a flat-topped hill and is now an awe-inspiring massive hole - the largest hand-dug excavation in the world - dug by picks and shovels. Original old buildings from days gone by, relocated from their earlier sites to form a magnificent open-air museum, surround the Big Hole.
Another museum to visit would be The McGregor Museum, which was officially founded on the 24th September 1907. A definite excursion would be to the historic suburb of Belgravia, which plays host to thirty-three of Kimberley's most historical sites. Much of Kimberley's opulent lifestyle of a previous time and its distinctive architecture can be seen on this fascinating two kilometre walk.
New owners Hennie and Christine Spangenberg bought Mein Heim Estate in December 2012, and look forward to many years of happiness, providing a gem of accommodation in Kimberley, Northern Cape.
