ESTABLISHMENT OVERVIEW:Let Discover South Africa find you the perfect Beaufort West accommodation. Karoo Gateway is a spanish-styled guesthouse that originally operated as the Beaufort West SAA Airport building. The guesthouse is also known as "The Flight Deck" and still runs as a small airport.
The spacious and luxurious en suite rooms are furnished and decorated in the earthy colours of the Karoo. There are eleven rooms in total, there are three family rooms, a honeymoon suite, two self-catering units, a disabled friendly suite, and a pet friendly unit that has a private courtyard and barbeque area. The rooms are equipped air-conditioning and fans, free Internet access, DSTV, tea and coffee facilities. Most rooms also have private verandas, kitchenettes and there is also a special disabled unit and pet unit at this accommodation in Beaufort West.
Conferences, functions and weddings can also be held at the Karoo Gateway for up to 120 people, where they will cater for your budget and special needs.
In winter pre-dinner drinks are served in front of a warm log fire, and for dinner they serve delicious traditional karoo homemade dishes and braai/BBQ's with soft music in the background, candle lit dinners on white linen served in a relaxing atmosphere. In the sundowner navigation lounge, you can enjoy drinks on the wraparound balcony while enjoying the views of the stunning karoo and Nuweveld Mountains. There is a multi-functional gazebo, bar and veranda overlooking the pool and dam at this accommodation, Beaufort West offers.
