Welcome to Highgrove House, a distinctive country hideaway perched on the Mpumalanga escarpment midway between White River and Hazyview.
The old world charm of this secluded retreat continues to delight guests whilst the impeccable appointments ensure luxury and privacy. Combined with the warm hospitality for which Highgrove House is renowned, the quiet serenity lures people back time in again. The dreamy aura provides a glorious respite, yet one is within minutes of renowned Game Reserves and boundless splendour of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls.

Each of our eight exquisitely decorated Garden and Orchard suites boast private terraces which offer a magnificent vista of the valley and forests surrounding Highgrove House. All suites include expansive en suite bathrooms, and separate sitting rooms with log fires to add to the luxury and ambiance. Attention to detail from the cut glass sherry decanters through to the luxurious bathrobes, hand embroidered pure cotton linen filled with goose down duvets is apparent throughout. The two Orchard suites have private saunas and swimming pools in their own secluded gardens - absolute luxury and privacy!
A gastronomic delight Highgrove House has justly earned national and international acclaim for their sumptuous gourmet dishes, fine wines and impeccable service, the restaurant has been awarded the coveted Chaise des Rotisseurs blazon and a place in the Top Ten Restaurants of South Africa.
